Our patients do come first and this attention can sometimes cause delays in our schedule as emergencies or unusual situations may arise. We ask you to be understanding and recognize that this same attention and courtesy would be extended to you as our patient. Please tell us if timing is critical to your schedule on a particular day, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Telephone Calls - In order to minimize interruptions to patients, the office staff has been trained to answer many of your questions. In the event that you still need to talk with Dr. Kwolek, she will return your call as soon as possible. Prescriptions - We do not make prescriptions or diagnosis by phone for problems not already under treatment. You can call your pharmacist directly for your prescription refills. Emergencies - If you have a medical emergency regarding your dermatology treatment, please call our office immediately. In the event you cannot reach Dr. Kwolek, proceed to your nearest emergency room. Fees, Payments and Insurance - Payment is expected at the time of service. For your convenience, Visa and MasterCard are accepted. We participate with several insurance plans for non-cosmetic treatments. Each patient is responsible to pay his or her own bill. Health insurance is designed to help you meet the costs of medical care, but the basic responsibility is yours. Your insurance contract is between you and your insurance company and defines to what extent the company can reimburse you. There is no contract between the insurance company and the doctor. We accept payment directly from some third party insurance companies for specific treatments. At the completion of your visit, you will be given a receipt listing all necessary medical information. Simply attach it to your insurance form and mail it to the company. |
